Megadeth for Santorum

February 28, 2012

Megadeth frontman, Dave Mustaine, endorses Santorum. Please don’t consider such Megadeth songs involving the anti-christ, anarchy, and a new world order when Mustaine publicly supports ultra-conservative Rick Santorum, stating:

“… You know, I think Santorum has some presidential qualities, and I’m hoping that if it does come down to it, we’ll see a Republican in the White House… and that it’s Rick Santorum.”

Well, unlike many Megadeth songs, Mustaine is a born-again Christian and treasures traditional values… xenophobia in particular. in 1988 Mustaine responded to the British Government’s criticisms of homosexuality by saying:

“More power to them. It says in the Bible that men should not lay with men like they lay with women. I mean I don’t wanna fuck up and not go to heaven.”

The xenophobia continues. When interviewed by Sounds journalist Roy Wilkinson Mustaine stated:

“If I were President of the United States, I’d build a great wall along the Mexican border and not let anybody in. … The beauty is gone when you see Americans sleeping on sidewalks and it makes me sick to to think we have assholes in this country letting fucking Mexicans in. Who needs this shit?”

Ah, now the endorsement makes more sense. They both likely believe that life begins at erection… well, unless that life is a homosexual, or a minority, and if it’s a female ABORT! Clearly, this is a very important endorsement. Thank you Dave Mustaine for using your vast political influence for the 2012 election. You have been very insightful, thank you.
